This is all you need to study for the MPRE exam

I am a current 3L. I took Professional Responsibility in my first semester 2L year. I just took the March MPRE. Needless to say, I was a little worried that I had not reviewed any ethics rules in over a year. I ordered these flashcards about three weeks before the exam. When I received the flashcards I immediately realized that 1) the flashcards are very detailed, and 2) there were a lot of flashcards (around 300!). DO NOT LET THIS SCARE YOU, TRUST ME! For starters, these cards are not designed like other flashcards that have limited one-sentence phrases for memorization. The system that they employ is designed to force you to actually learn the rules quickly! The flashcards present the rules in an organized, detailed fashion that may seem a bit overbearing at first. However, I found it easier to digest by studying one rule section at a time starting with the smaller sections. The next study session I would reread that first section and then move on to the next rule section. I repeated this process as much as I had time to. I ended up at least reading all of the cards once. Some of the sections I ended up reading three times. Still, I only spent about 5 or 6 days studying in total. I probably spent about 4 to 5 hours each study session. At first I would read the question first and then the answer. After a while I realized that it worked better for me to read the answer first and if it did not make sense to me then I would read the question. This allowed me to focus strictly on the rule. Also, the flashcards do an excellent job of rewording the same rule two or three times on different cards to force your mind to fully comprehend the concept and reasoning behind the rule. Not only do the cards give you the rule, it explains why the rule is important in everyday practice. By the time I started taking practice exams, which was the night before the exam; I was scoring 80% consistently. On the day of the exam I put a check next to the questions I was just not sure about or had no clue. Of course there are 10 questions that are experimental and not graded. Those were easy to spot for me because they were absolutely hard and felt out of place with the rest of the questions. Needless to say, the other questions were embarrassingly simple. I tallied the check marks and...You guessed it...80% correct. I am positive that a majority of the ones that I missed were the experimental questions. To sum it up...you do not need anything else but these flashcards, about 5 or 6 days or 20 to 30 hours of reading them and you will be better off than the rest of the test takers.

Wonderful flashcard system.

I got the e-book too and couldn't rave enough about. However, now I have a new thing to rave and share with you guys - that these flashcards are just as good and are worth every penny. Oh, I passed the exam and these flashcards were the icing on the cake.
The e-book was amazing, but the best thing about these flashcards was the simple fact that they enhanced your knowledge. They made studying even more simple and easy, because you did not have to write your own flashcards and miss some points that were actually on the exam.
I have now found a new appreciation for flashcards and what they do for your brain. It was as if using them made me more able to retrieve the answer when the exam took place. I was eager to purchase after I enjoyed the first parts of the study guide. As clear as it was, it wanted me to be thorough and know more. The flashcards act as bullet points, and even help you learn how to actually answer the questions in the format that the bar examiner's want. Great purchase in every way, and very happy with my investment.

Fantastic System

I can’t say enough positive things about these cards. They are absolutely fantastic and worth every penny. After ordering the cards, they arrived quickly and I was super impressed at the volume of cards in the system. They are very well written and extremely comprehensive. The cards really detail all the rules. Where other flashcards might just use a line or two to drive home the point, these cards repeat a rule or concept in different ways on several cards. That way it gives you the chance to really understand the concept and the rationale behind it. The detail is evident on every card. You can tell that this system was thoroughly researched by true professionals. It’s a great way to remember and memorize. This system is truly unique in how it’s put together. They make a great finishing touch in preparing for this exam. If you can go through these cards, you’ll do well on the exam. They are a huge asset!
